  • eegresample myeegfile_in.eeg myeegfile_out.eeg new_sf

    with :

    • myeegfile_in.eeg : input file to change reference (with extension).
    • myeegfile_out.eeg : output file (with extension).
    • new_sf : new sampling frequency (Hz).

    1. When decimating data, to ensure that the sampling theorem is satisfied, a low-pass filter is used as an anti-aliasing filter to reduce the bandwidth of the signal before the signal is downsampled. For this, you must use eegfiltfilt to filter EEG data before downsampling. The filter is a low-pass with a cutoff frequency less than new_sf/2 .
    2. The filtering is not computed by eegresample. You must first call eegfiltfilt before downsampling data.
